    AGM followed by Adam Smith. He will be talking to us about ‘The Scandalous Life of Idina Sackville (1893-1955)’. Idina Sackville’s five marriages and many lovers caused much gossip between the 1920’s and 1950’s. She is still remembered today as part of the “Happy Valley Set” in Kenya and as the model for Nancy Mitford’s “The Bolter”. However, her life is more than scandal and she shines a light on changing aristocratic attitudes to marriage after the First World War.
