Royal British Legion Volunteering

Organisation: Royal British Legion

Sandy and District Royal British Legion has stood strong in our community for nearly the last 100 years! The Branch is due to celebrate it’s Centenary in 2026.

Looking at the current situation we are not likely to get there with the Branch then being centralised or closed, which could mean loosing our face within our community.

We are the people who are there for our veterans when they need support!

We are the people who mark Remembrance in November and throughout the year!

We are the people who support the Legion with the Poppy Appeal every year!

We are here to support our armed forces community, but unfortunately our numbers are dwindling and aging with every year that passes.

WHAT CAN YOU DO?

Age, background, military service does not matter, the RBL has a youth section, women’s section. professional’s section, riders section for you motorbike enthusiasts.

We need members to sign up and join the support of our local campaign, to ensure the life of our branch continues. We need people with a passion for the things I have mentioned above to get involved!

Help support the branch

Fund raising

Act as an advocate for our veterans

Ensure that locally we have the same support for many years to come!

Remember those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our country!
