Join the reserve team on National Fungus Day on a guided walk around The Lodge nature reserve and learn about the weird and wonderful lives of fungi.
With more than 700 species recorded at The Lodge, we will look at ways to identify fungi and tips on how to photograph them but be aware that this is not a photography workshop.
This guided walk is designed for adults and teens with a general interest in fungi and does not focus on what is edible or poisonous for potential foragers. It is not a foraging walk, and fungi will not be collected for consumption.
Meet by the picnic area outside the Shop.
There will be a family-oriented walk, aimed at younger audiences and their guardians, on Thursday 30th October.

As part of the Wave of Light for Baby Loss Awareness Week the Church will be open to anyone who has been touched by the death of a child – through miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal death or the death of an older child is welcome to come and light a candle in memory of the little one they have lost.
